American electronic music producer and DJ Kevin Saunderson, born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1964, is reputed as a versatile techno stalwart, as well as one of the originators of the genre. Matriculating within the storied Belleville Three (consisting of him, Derrick May and Juan Atkins) in his early years, around 1984 he kicked off his deejaying career. His company KMS Records was formed in 1986.
