Father — Seitmetov Rayymbek Nogaybaevich (1938-2007), a Soviet and Kazakh theatrical director. He was a People's Artist of the Kazakh SSR and a laureate of the State Prize of the Kazakh SSR. He served in the army from 1983 to 1985.
