Jana Carboni

Jana Carboni comes from a family with generations involved in theatre and film and always had intentions of pursuing a creative career. After attending art college in Rome, she went on to study architecture before following her passion and gaining work experience on Giuseppe Tornatore's film The Legend of 1900 (1998), where she met makeup designer Luigi Rocchetti, whom she went on to work for for 10 years (Titus (1999), Proof of Life (2000), The Motorcycle Diaries (2004), to mention a few). After working all over the world, Jana moved to England, where she worked for makeup designer Tina Earnshaw for a number of years.
