Jamie Macdougall

Jamie Macdougall is a Visual Effects Supervisor at Rising Sun Pictures, where he has worked since joining the studio in 2018. Jamie initially joined Rising Sun Pictures as an Asset Supervisor, where his work on The Eight Hundred (2020) earned a nomination at the 2021 Visual Effects Society Awards for Outstanding Created Environment in a Photoreal Feature, specifically for the "Shanghai Warehouse District" sequence, shared with Julian Hutchens, Mark Honer, and David Pekarek. He subsequently served as CG Supervisor on Turandot and Jungle Cruise (2021), during which he developed large-scale environment toolsets that were later leveraged on Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021).
