Jonathan Rodrigues

A SOV (Shot On Video) cinema enthusiast, heavily inspired by the great Brazilian SOV artist Petter Baiestorf. Previously just a film enthusiast, film collector and occasional writer, he began filming with the encouragement of his nephew during the isolation of the Covid-19 pandemic, when they released The Incredibly Distracted Killer (2021), which already dictated the main characteristics of his work, a cinema focused on fun, made with a zero budget. The following year he also produced The Sexual Torture Chamber of Doctor Josefel (2022), which began the work of editing collages, which would yield some of his most famous films, such as A Brief History of Porn Cinema with Bela Lugosi (2023), Night of Horror in Brazil (2023) and La Lucha Invade el Cine Mexicano (2024).
