Simon (Siko) Dolidze was georgian filmmaker and writer. He graduated from Tbilisi State University Faculty of History and Philosophy in 1925 and started working in movie studio "SAkhkinmretsvi" as a administrator and then as an assistent to director. In 1927 he made short film "A day in Karacho".
