Bobbi Jo Hart has passionately directed “up close and personal”, award-winning documentaries for 20 years, often filming alone to obtain greater intimacy with her characters. Rebels On Pointe follows her last award-winning feature documentary I Am Not a Rock Star, which toured worldwide festivals — from Thessaloniki to Palm Springs, Vancouver to Krakow — winning many awards along the way — including two Canadian Screen Awards (for Best Performing Arts Documentary, Best Editing & nomination for Best Direction) then was picked up by many global networks like Documentary Channel, BBC4 and SVT and subsequently released on VOD via iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, etc..
