Susan Rohrer cut her teeth as a director on an adaptation of James Weldon Johnson's acclaimed God's Trombones, followed by directing 100 episodes of award-winning drama Another Life. Thereafter, Rohrer produced and directed (and in some cases wrote) four specials for CBS and one for ABC, as well as For Jenny With Love and TV movie Mother's Day for the Family Channel. She went on to direct six episodes of teen comedy Sweet Valley High, as well as the pilot, Dojo Kids.
