James Robin Mayo has done various music videos and short films, including "Fib," which won 3rd place for Best Experimental Video in the 27th Gawad CCP Para sa Alternatibong Pelikula at Video. He was the producer for "Kiko Boksingero," a Cinemalaya 2017 feature film entry, and "Anatomiyang Pag-ibig," a film adaptation of Allan Lopez's award-winning stage play. His full-length debut film "The Chanters" premiered at QCinema International Film Festival 2017, winning the Best Screenplay and Best Actress awards.
