Sander Maran

Writer/cinematographer/director/etc Sander Maran began making short films in high school with friends and attended the Baltic Film and Media School. His short film „Curiosity Kills“ was successful among international film festivals and so he and creative partner Jan Andresson started making short films outside of film school. That led to Maran’s debut feature film Chainsaws Were Singing, a crazy genre-mixing epic that was shot guerilla-style in 2013 with co-producers Kaur Maran, Jan Andresson and Karl-Joosep Ilves.
