Nguyễn Thanh Vân

Nguyễn Thanh Vân is a Vietnamese director. Born in Hanoi in a family of Thanh Hoá origin, he's the son of film director Nguyễn Hải Ninh. At the age of 10, he followed his father to the set of a movie, and later, while waiting for his college entrance exam results, was sent to southern Vietnam with director Nguyễn Khánh Dư and entrusted as location assistant.
