Dušan Kasalica was born in Nikšić, Montenegro. He completed his studies in film directing at the Faculty of Drama Arts in Cetinje, Montenegro, where he is presently employed in the Department of Film and Television directing. His short film "A matter of will" received the Heart of Sarajevo award for the best short film at the 21st Sarajevo Film Festival and has been showcased at various esteemed festivals globally.
