From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Frederick Penrose Tennyson (26 August 1912 – 7 July 1941) was a British film director whose promising career was cut short when he was killed in a plane crash. Tennyson gained experience as an assistant director to Alfred Hitchcock in several of his British films during the 1930s.
