Amal Neerad

Amal Neerad (born October 7, 1976) is an Indian film director, cinematographer, and producer who works primarily in the Malayalam film industry. A graduate of the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, Kolkata, he first gained recognition as a cinematographer for Black (2004), before beginning his directorial career. Amal made his directorial debut with the stylish action film Big B (2007), starring Mammootty, which later gained cult status for its visual language and technical finesse.
