Known for over 50 years of his career as a versatile professional due to his strong and realistic on-screen presence, he is one of the most respected actors of his generation. His impressive performances were highly praised, particularly in romantic dramas such as Ranjang Pengantin (1974) and Di Balik Kelambu (1983).
