Joseph Miller was born in April 26, 1978, in Binghamtom, New York, to Mark Miller and Patricia Ann Ritchie. He had a brother, Joshua Miller, who passed in 1998. He attended William Paterson University, receiving a communications degree in 2003 before being accepted to the American Film Institute thereafter.
