Belleau Wood, France, June 1918. After three weeks of battle, the US Marines stopped the German advance a few miles from Paris. They earned the name of "Devil Dogs" and made victory possible for the Allies. Gilles Lagin has given himself a mission: to preserve the memory of the American soldiers who fought in Belleau Wood.
