During the German occupation, Mrs. Dimitra, widow of pilot Nikiforos Avgeris, lives with her daughter Natasha and her mother-in-law. One day, she happens to meet Haris, a stuntman who bears a striking resemblance to her late husband, and asks him to play the role of her husband for the sake of her daughter.
